This December, we are happy to announce that our next donation of $3,459 is to Queen Anne’s County Animal Services! Together with Kittie Kittie for Giving Tuesday, you raised an additional $549 to be included with this donation!
Donations made to Queen Anne's County Animal Services support medical procedures and psychological care that truly give a second chance at life to the beloved animals they care for. A dog named Roscoe is just one example of how direct financial contributions and the loving support of members of the community save lives. Read more about his story from QACAS below!
“Roscoe arrived at animal services after his owner fell on hard times and lost his home. Adjusting to shelter life was difficult for Roscoe, especially since he was terrified of other dogs. This senior pup watched his neighbor dogs enter and leave the shelter while he waited patiently for someone looking to meet a senior dog who must be their one and only canine. Roscoe was a staff favorite because of his calm and gentle demeanor. We knew he would eventually strike gold.
Roscoe did indeed hit the jackpot! After a whopping 841 days with Queen Anne's County Animal Services Roscoe was adopted by his new family. He spends his days now playing with his human baby sister and her friends, lounging on the couch, and being perfectly spoiled. Roscoe is just one of many dogs that Queen Anne's County Animal Services dedicates our efforts to. We are committed to each animal's quality of life and preparing them for their new adventures beyond shelter life.
